NOTE: The Fidelity Investments event will be also be the first club meeting. So, if you are a member or would like to become a member, please attend this event. There will be membership forms if you would like to become part of the club as well along with future plans for the club this semester.

Fidelity Investments is hosting an information this Thursday, December 1st, at 5:40pm in Pamplin 1045. They are also bringing PIZZA!
This is another great opportunity to network and really learn what a position with Fidelity can offer. They offer corporate services - such as consulting, audit, HR, risk management, and more.

2nd BIT Club Meeting

The second BIT Club meeting is this upcoming Tuesday (October 25th). If you were unable to attend the last meeting, please try your best to come to this one. We’re also collecting the club fee ($20 per semester). We’re going to discuss some upcoming events with KPMG, Deloitte, and Fidelity Investments.

Fidelity Investments is looking for BIT Sophomores and Juniors to intern (and Seniors for full-time) this summer! This is a great opportunity to learn more about the company and see if a internship or career there is right for you.

The BIT Club will be having its first information session on Tuesday, September 27th in Pamplin 1028.
This session is open to students of all majors and we especially encourage students majoring in BIT, both DSS and OM options, to attend. We will be discussing what the BIT club will be doing this semester and providing students who are not current members with an overview of the club.
Also, there will be FREE PIZZA! We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

KPMG is hosting a joint club event for the Accounting Society and BIT Club on November 1st. This is a great opportunity to speak to the KPMG recruiters and to gain a better understanding of who they are and the various things they do.

Do you like free pizza? If so! Then come to the first BIT Information Session!
The BIT Club is going to have the first meeting/information session on September 27th at 6:30! We’re still trying to reserve a room and get everything straightened out, so we’ll update this site and send out an email over the listerv to update everyone. We hope to see you there! The club has a lot planned for this year. Also, the Accounting Society has invited us to attend a presentation by Deloitte on September 19th! This a great opportunity to learn about Deloitte and what they’re looking for from BIT graduates.
